Firm's Queen's Award a 'fantastic honour'

The Lord Lieutenant of Clwyd Trefor Jones has presented a local firm with a Queen’s Award.

Explosion prevention experts Epsilon were presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the sustainable development category at a special marquee celebration at Epsilon’s Deeside Lane, Chester offices.

The award comes after three members of Epsilon’s team, Paul Moss, Sean Clarke and Steve D’Henin, visited Buckingham Palace to meet the Queen after winning the award.

Epsilon won the award for continuously achieving the highest standards in business to the benefit of its customers, staff, suppliers and the wider community.

Sean Clarke, Epsilon’s business director, said: “Meeting the Queen was a fantastic honour for the team. Epsilon is the only certification body ever to receive this Royal Award for business performance, practices and ethics.”
