Queen's Award launched at Bolsover Castle

Innovative East Midlands’ based businesses gathered recently at Bolsover Castle to hear how winning a Queen’s Awards for Enterprise could improve their business.

The Queen’s Award office, led by David Moore and Stephen Brice, in partnership with UKTI, led by deputy international trade director Liz Basing, hosted the event.

Brice confirmed: “We know that the East Midlands has successful businesses, and we hope more and more from the region will be encouraged to apply for an award.”

Moore added: “This is regarded as the UK’s most prestigious award for business.

“Large and small businesses are eligible and by winning they can achieve greater recognition in their industry. You don’t have to be a big company to win; you can apply as long as you have at least two full time employees.
