STATE Street Global Advisors is among 120 companies that have been presented with the Queen's Award for Enterprise.

The winners of the Awards presented on April 21 - are drawn from all sectors of business and industry, and range in size from a company employing just four people to an organisation with a workforce of 108,600.

There were four winners from the Finance sector – The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, State Street Global Advisors, insurance software developer EMB Consultancy, and The London Clearing House for its SwapClear service.

In total, the Queen announced 123 awards - 62 for international trade, 51 for innovation and 10 for sustainable development.
