* Wired-Ed For Success: Queen’s Award For The Organisation That Flourished By Helping Others

24/07/2003

Littlehampton Gazette

What a day it was for The Wire project in Wield.
It was honoured with a top Queen’s Award for its excellent community volunteer work and it was handed over to project manager Paul Sanderson at the Wickbourne Chapel, Club Road, by the Lord Lieutenant of Sussex Hugh Wyatt.
The WIRE, formed seven years ago, believes change is always possible, that all are important and it is vital never to give up.
Paul, together with Wick businessman Roger Arthurs, of Going Spare, who has constantly supported the project and nominated it for the Award, were due to travel to Buckingham Palace this week for the official presentation.
