Palace date for Scottish Firms - 17/07/2003



Scottish companies are attending a reception this evening at Buckingham Palace after being chosen as winners of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise. The Queen’s Awards are the UK’s top awards for business performance and are awarded in three categories – international trade, innovation and sustainable development.
Representatives from eight Scottish winning companies were attending the reception held by The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.
The Scottish winners are Excell Biotech Ltd, Fresh Catch Ltd, IPA Energy Consulting Ltd, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc, Trinity International Services Ltd, Univation Ltd, Controlled Therapeutics (Scotland) Ltd and RFX Limited.
The Scottish companies are among 123 winners from across the UK ranging from an exporter of high performance sports cars to the team behind the development of the London Eye tourist attraction.
