Meteor Recognised by Queens Awards
Recognising the company’s excellence in international trade, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Mrs Julie Spence OBE, visited Meteor Inkjet’s Headquarters to present the company with its Queen’s Award for Enterprise. The Lord-Lieutenant was accompanied by her Deputy, Lt Colonel Johnny Kaye DL. After a moving speech by Mrs Spence, Clive Ayling, Meteor’s managing director, was presented with a commemorative glass bowl. Mr Kaye then read aloud the citation from a ceremonial scroll that had been signed by The Queen.…

Best Retailer Awards
The results are in. The awards were based on two surveys of 22,000 shoppers carried out by Verdict, in which AO.com scored highly across all areas of service, with standout scores in delivery options and returns policies, price and value for money. The Award for Best Electricals Retailer went to John Lewis with AO.com in second place, followed by Amazon.
